Do you think teens should be having sex at age 14?
Im just sayin alot of girls and guys at this age are having sex so theres ppl getting pregnat do you think its alright to loose your virginity at this age or just wait longer?

Revy, what the hell? All 14 year-olds (and all other teenagers) care about are their iPods and which rapper got shot last week. None of them are economically, emotionall, or mentally prepared for taking care of a child. And the overwhelming majority of the teen mothers end up single and dependent on their parents.
Everyone should be rendered chemically impotent until they are 18, and then it should be required that IQ tests are taken before procreation is allowed. (Only half-joking on that.)

I personally think that age is too young. Some may be mature enough to handle all that comes with having sex, but most 14 year olds aren't. I think people should wait to they are emotionally, mentally and physically ready to have sex. For some that may be 14... others it could be 25.
i agree with mr. rodgers. i'm a nineteen year old mother of two. i had my first when i was eighteen. while i know that i could not have handled it younger i do believe that there are some who can. it's a personal choice. a fourteen year old may not be ready but there are many thirty year olds who can't either. age isn't a factor.
Me personally, I don't think anybody should be having sex before marriage but people are going to do what their going to do. So in that respect hell no! 14 is still a baby! There is so much other things they should be worried about. They can't handle that. I know this from my own experiences.
I'm 14.
I CANNOT imagine myself pregnant or giving birth. Children at this age should be worrying about education and family and friends, NOT about their sex life.     Please log in to add a comment.
