First thing's first, and people CANNOT seem to get this through their thick skulls...

YAOI is PORN, people. It's boy-on-boy porn.

Shonen-ai, however, is NOT porn.

That said, I am so sick of the so-called yaoi crap, personally. Mainly because most of the fantards are so rabid and stupid they almost make Twilight fans look sane...

"Almost"...

But what really irritates me most are the idiots that take straight characters and change their orientations just so they can have something to fap to. I can't stand that someone would take perfectly good characters that they fell in love with in the first place and totally manipulate and destroy their personalities like that.

And don't even get me started on the crack pairings... ¬__¬

Yes, I know Yaoi is technically porn, and shonen-ai is romance, but the majority of people use Yaoi as the general term, or that has been my experience. ^^

I've never been called homophobic for not liking yaoi, but still, it isn't something I'm interested in.

Also, it does bother me when people change a character's orientation, because it's not who their creator intended them to be. It's one thing if the characters are actually attracted to males in the original work, but it's practically character derailment to change someone's orientation just for a fanfic.

That said, I'm not homophobic at all, I just dislike people warping characters' personalities, orientations, or any other part of them. I wish people would take off their shipping glasses and stop pairing people that wouldn't logically be together. This goes for heterosexual pairings, too. [/rant]

Yaoi is fine with me. I don't mind too much. Hetalia yaoi though... Sorry, it just bothers me :(
